"Transformers: The Ride 3D" Opens at Universal Orlando
This May 31, 2013, Universal Orlando gave the order to send in the recruits to assist the Automats as the doors to Transformers: The Ride 3D were opened to the public for the first time.
The ride doesn’t officially open until June 20, 2013, but after completing its impressively fast construction in under a year’s time, Universal was ready to reveal this engineering feat a few days after the busy Memorial Day weekend. Following two days of successful technical rehearsals with Universal’s employees / team members and this morning’s installation of a massive 28-foot-tall Optimus Prime statue above the attraction’s entrance, Universal Studios Florida guests were allowed inside the new ride tonight, beginning just after 7p.m. for a soft opening lasting through park closing at 9 p.m. Video tour here under.
"The Good The Bad and A Horse" 4D Short by nWave Pictures
nWave Pictures Distribution will launch a new 4D/3D attraction film named "The Good, The Bad and A Horse" next week at IAAPA's Asian Attractions Expo.
Directed by Ben Smith, the film tells the story of a brave young sheriff and his horse as they track down the meanest, baddest and stinkiest bandit in the whole wide Wild West. The 11-minute 4D experience is available for distribution exclusively from nWave and will premiere at attractions and theme parks this summer.

5D Interactive Games from Belarus
Eligraphics Studio, a producer ofinteractive games and animated movies fo Minsk, Belarus, has recently completed its already third custom 5D game called “Black Gold”. Previous games were “Western Canyon” and “Ghost Town”. A fourth custom 5D game is anticipated in July 2012.
“Black Gold” takes players in a virtual Western riding on the motion platform with horse simulators. People become totally involved in what is happening in the game due to active 3D glasses, shooting with light guns and special effects that impact human perception. These effects include water splashes, smoke, bubbles, light flashes, wind and motion simulation. The game is created with Unity 3D game engine.
"Justice League: Alien Invasion 3D" Succesful Launch

Legoland Discovery Centre Canada will include 4D Cinema
Canada’s first Legoland Discovery Centre will open in spring 2013 at the Vaughan Mills shopping centre, 30 km north of Toronto, Canada. Leisure giant Merlin Entertainments announced Thursday the $12-million centre will be its first foray into Canada. Construction on the 34,000-square-foot site will begin this summer and will open for the 2013 holiday season. As all seven exisiting Legoland Discovery Centres, the new indoor leisure park will include an amazing 4D cinema featuring short movies (i.e. "Bob the Builder").
What is 4D?
4D is a stereoscopic 3D cinema with an added fun layer where the action comes to life as flurries of wind, rain, lightning and even snow burst into the auditorium!
