Avatar 2 Delayed

Avatar 2 will not be ready to meet the Christmas 2017 release that was expected by most. Though the release date was never officially claimed by 20th Century Fox, Cameron himself said they weretargeting the holiday release window just last month. Our next best guess is July 2018....

Cameron said that meeting that date wasn’t as important as “the fact that when we get all three films done, we drop them a year apart.”

Will Avatar 2, 3, and 4 Gross over $10 Billion?

James Cameron is still working on the next three Avatar sequels that will be shot together from next year in New Zealand. Did you know that te first Avatar 3D stereoscopic movie grossed $2,787,965,087 (and counting...)? According to  Jim Cameron himself, "expectations are going to be very high on these films".

Avatar 2, 3, and 4 will be shot simultaneously from some time during next year. The first sequel is expected to appear on the silver screen on December 25, 2017.

Avatar 2, Avatar 3, and Avatar 4 Announced

Fox Studios (USA) have announced there will be three sequels to the world bestseller Avatar, after director James Cameron found two films "would not be enough". The three sequels will be filmed simultaneously beginning in 2014, and will be released respectively in December 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Chinese Coproduction in James Cameron's Agenda

We announced last week that the Cameron Pace Group opened offices in China. The China venture, based in Beijing, will provide technology and support, rather than co-producing films, said Vince Pace. On top of this announcement, James Cameron told “There have been some very preliminary discussions about co-production potential here in China.”
