Blender 2.75 Offers 3D Stereoscopy in Rendering and in 3D Work View Too!
Blender is a notoriously excellent free 3D modeling/animation;/redering combo software used by many professional studios. Version 2.75 is coming with a lot of features.
Blender now fully supports the ability to create stereoscopic 3D images. There's support for everything from the good old red/cyan anaglyph stereoscopic display, to more advanced interlacing and page flip 3D display techniques. The support for stereo isn't just in final rendering, either; it's also available in the 3D interface view.

Other New Stuff in Blender
- Blender's GPU-accelerated renderer, Cycle is greatly improved too, mainly on AMD GPUs. If you have a video card capable of supporting OpenCL for GPU computation, you get a much faster rendering experience with Cycles.
- In the lighting department, a new "Portal" option improves lighting calculations and reduce noise in the picture.
- Also new, the ability to make modifications to multiple selected objects at the same time.
- A massive overhaul of Blender's dependency graph.
- Symetry paint
