Conduct your 3D Chamber Orcherstra

Experience of a lifetime: Walk around in the middle of the Australian Chamber Orchestra and conduct it yourself.

It is too late for the one-day event at the Sydney's Museum of Contemporary Art, but come to the Sydney Opera House Studio on October 21-23 or 27-29, 2013  and you will be able to watch, conduct and play alongside a virutal 3D replica of the orchestra. Via a touch screen ‘music stand’ the audience controls what musicians they see and hear via the projections, and can select to listen to the musicians individually or collectively. Video demo here under.

“I will be photographing it in colour” 3D Pictures Exhibition

The “I will photograph it in colors” exhibition opened on July 4, 2013 at the History Meeting House in Warsaw, Poland and is visible until November 17, 2013. Many pictures are presented in 3D on autosterescopic displays (a.k.a. No-glasses 3D TV sets).

This extraordinary exhibition features photographs taken by Stanisław Wilhelm Lilpop in the beginning of the XXth Century. Born into a well-known Warsaw family of industrialists, he was probably the first Polish photographer taking colorful pictures in the autochrome technique. Undoubtedly, he was the first photographer in Poland who introduced colors into stereoscopic photography in 1908. All the pictures were taken with the use of a stereoscopic camera “Stéréospido A” of the French company Gaumont.

Visitors of the exhibition, organized at the 150th anniversary of Lilpop’s birth, will have an opportunity to admire around 180 photographs from the years 1908-1930, part of them in native stereoscopic 3D. The pictures, exquisite from the artistic point of view, also constitute a valuable record of social life of Warsaw, huntings and journeys (including famous Lilpop’s journey to Africa).

LED Video Walls with Passive 3D Add-on

A new invention to show 3D on common LED video walls was introduced at the fair ProLight&Sound in Germany in April this year. For the first time, large venue events like concerts, sports, fashion and corporate presentations can bring a stereoscopic 3D experience on LED walls to an unlimited audience. The key feature of the novelty is “Passive 3D” technology, which allows the use of maintenance-free RealD-like polarized glasses and low-cost disposables.
