Venice Festival Selects GetD for its 3D Screenings
For the very first time, GetD (Future 3D Group) is providing its 3D cinema systems and glasses for the Venice International Film Festival (August 31 through September 10, 2016).
The Venice International Film Festival is the oldest of its kind founded in 1932. 3D projection has become a tradition for many years and the organizers will have another promising line up in 2016.
GetD will be providing 5,000 of its high range GT410 active glasses and related IR technology systems for all the major venues during the whole festival. IC3D 2016 Call for Paper Deadine is Extended
The International Conference on 3D Imaging, called, for short, IC3D (pronounced "I see 3D") presents the latest information in 3D research and development, and provides a way to anticipate what will soon emerge from skunk-works, research laboratories. IC3D emphasizes the mid and long terms, and the limits of the possible. The scope of IC3D is ALL aspects – scientific, engineering, mathematical,... - and ALL applications of ALL forms - stereoscopic, holographic, integral, range, audio, print, ... – of 3D. IC3D is held along 3DStereoMedia on December 12-15, 2016 in Liège, Belgium.

3D Film Booster Call
The 3D Film Booster (3DFB) - a completed revamped version of 3DStereoMedia (Liège, Belgium) pioneering "3D Content Financing Market" - is exclusively reserved for participants who submit projects for 3D contents - movie or VR - and see these projects accepted by the booster's selection team in December 2016. 3DFB takes each successful applicant by the hand, in a small group, from his/her idea to a pitch in front of potential, international investors and co-producers.
3DFB is your chance to get up to speed in stereoscopic 3D content making for cinema and VR. The booster is led by Sylvain Grain, an experienced, award-winning stereographer and producer.
