ZECOTEK strikes again
After releasing a white paper explaining some bits of their news technology for glasses-free autostereosocpic displays, ZECOTEK is this time announcing that their patent 7,944,465 has been granted by the U.S. Patent Office.

... and the glasses are free (I mean no glasses are needed...) ! Zero Creative (The Netherlands) slashes prices of their glasses-free 3D displays: the 24" is now 2,995 € instead of 3,800 € and the 46" is 4,995 €, down from €6,500.
New autostereoscopic display panels
At SID 2011 (49th SID International Symposium, Seminar & Exhibition), Toshiba and Sony announced new autostereoscopic panels. Thoshiba's is an 8" intended for tablet computers, while Sony's was a 24" prototype from a future series of 10 to 30" displays.
