A working 3D Blu-ray visible in January 2010

3D Blu-ray is closer than you think!

While the world continues to wait for an announcement on what the 3D Blu-ray standard will be (backwards compatible 2D discs, Full HD 3D,...), AMD today announced that it will demonstrate the forthcoming Blu-ray stereoscopic 3D standard at the 2010 CES in January 2010, showcasing how consumers will soon get to enjoy high-fidelity 3D entertainment once reserved only for theaters.
