Open source stereoscopic player software

A stereoscopic player was developped in open source in 2005. This may be a bit outdated, but I you are interested in exploring 3D player source code, this may be a good start. Check the GLStereoPlayer project here on sourceForge.

International Stereoscopic Union

The ISU (International Stereoscopic Union) was founded in 1975 and is the only international 3D association in the world. The ISU is a club of individual 3D enthusiasts as well as a club of stereo clubs. The ISU's members currently number more than 1,000 and come from over 40 countries world-wide. Membership is really affordable at 20 $/year.

This web site is a kind of one stop shop for everything 3D, edited by Alexander Klein. Mainly targeting the amateurs and newcomers, it offers -among many other things- some nice tutorials on how to start shhoting 3D pictures (try this one).
