Alaric Hamacher is a well known stereographer in Germany.
He graduated in directing and producing from the Academy for Television and Cinema, Munich (HFF München) and holds a MA in Film Sciences from Paris VII. He was responsible for feature film coproductions at Advanced Media AG in the late 1990s, before setting up his own production company Virtual Experience in 1999. This company specializes on stereoscopic 3D productions. Alaric Hamacher is spokesman and board member of the European Union of 3D Producers (UP3D).
Virtual Experience provide full service from concept and script to 3D shooting and postproduction for any 3D movie.
Alaric Hamacher is on IMDB. As a producer, he did Cyberheidi 3D, The 2107 Quest for Sustainability, and Delusion 3D. He recently supervised the stereoscopic production of the mystery thriller „The forbidden girl“ and the first 3D production of the german broadcaster ZDF “Höhenrausch” telling the story of two of the world's best mountaineers Alexander and Thomas Huber (YouTube 3D trailer, aired on ZDF on 3 October 2011). He directed stereo 3D on many 3D commercials and corporate movies (e.g. Mercedes Benz). and he helped to develop the SINACAM flying 3D camera (YouTube 3D test).
