IFA is the big European Electronic Consumer Show, held in Berlin from 4 to 9 Sep 2009. Several 3D products are presented, but some are difficult to find through their web site and catalogue.
BC2008 will see the first transatlantic HD 3D broadcast, using 3Ality technology. On Sunday 14 September, Elizabeth Daley of the USC School of Cinematic Arts will interview DreamWorks CEO, Jeffrey Katzenberg while he sits in LA.
AT the IFA fair (4 Sep 2009), Philips is presenting a massive 132" 3D display build from nine 42)inches 3D screens stacked in three rows. The WOWvx technology from Philips is based on a lenticular film in front of a fast LCD panel.
A simple calculation based on the 12,000 USD list price of a single WWvx screen gives as result a list price of 108,000 USD or 75,000 Euros. If you have the money available, I suppose your living room wall is at least 3.2 meters wide, so it should be OK...
