3D For Kids Workshop
Jeff Boller from The Simple Carnival (Delmont, PA, USA) conducts 3D for Kids workshops aimed to 7 years old kids. The workshop covers the basics of stereoscopy and various 3D techniques through fun, interactive, hands-on demonstrations.
The workshop has been a big hit with kids and adults alike as you can see in the video here under.
3D For Kids 2013
This video switches from being in 2D to stereoscopic 3D. You'll need anaglyph (red/cyan) 3D glasses to view the 3D segments properly. You'll know when it's time to put on the 3D glasses when the 3D glasses icon appears in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. If you don't have 3D glasses handy, you can turn off the 3D effect by clicking the 3D button at the bottom of the player and selecting "Turn off 3D" from the popup menu.
Smitten 3D is a 40 minute animated music stereoscopic video movie in the making.
Smitten 3D will be released as a 3D blu-ray disc. It's probable that the entire 40-minute movie will be shown on the indie film circuit. The individual completed videos are already being shown at film festivals and 3D conventions.
The four songs released so far from Smitten 3D can be found on iTunes.
Jeff Boller sings Beach Boys-influenced pop music and experimental easy listening. There's also quite a bit of Electric Light Orchestra, Todd Rundgren, and Steely Dan influences in what he does. He plays most (or all) of the instruments on The Simple Carnival's recordings, and released four CDs since 2005.
