3DS' 3D not so attractive ???
Nintendo’s main selling point for the 3DS has always been its autostereoscopic 3D capabilities. This is no doubt a very impressive technical feat but, unfortunately, a recent survey has shown a lot of gamers don’t really dig the 3D.
According to the suevey results, 22 % of the individuals who participated in the survey said they enjoyed the 3D and felt that it added to the gameplay, reports GameSpot. Meanwhile a total of 28 % of respondents said the stereoscopic visual effect took away from the overall quality of the gameplay. An additional 13 % played with the 3D graphics turned off entirely.
Other interesting findings include an uptick in the number of users who reported dizziness or nausea due to watching 3D entertainment (37 % this year, up from 30 % the year before). Interpret conducted its survey in mid-May with more than 1,600 adult respondents.
