TX Bites! 3D Wildlife Series

TX Bites! is a wildlife miniseries by Savant Studios (La Canada Flintridge, CA, USA) showcasing the magnificent state of Texas! Venomous snakes, reptiles, frightening insects, and large predators as well as several lesser-known species of rare beauty that are native to Texas are all featured. Shot in stereoscopic 3D, TX Bites! is the first series to showcase the American frontier exclusively, with all original, non-archival, 'true' 3D footage!

The pilot episode will be available in Q2 2012. Each episode is 47 minutes long; director: Seth Estrada.

Makay, the lost world's raiders 3D

"Makay, the lost world's raiders" will be broadcast on Canal+ France in 3D on December 14, 2011 at 20:50. This documentary film is about a 2007 expedition in the heart of Madagascar. A 3D Blu-ray will be available too (20€). Pierre Stine directed the shooting with four stereographers from Binocle (Paris, France) in charge of 3D : 2 months of green hell with 90% humidity, temperatures above death valley level, torrential rain, snake bites, and other fun moments....

Jim Cameron's 3D evangelisation started during the dinosaurs era

Jim Cameron is the pope of 3D and the evangelist of 3D too. His campaign to convert every moving picture into three dimensions started 65 million years ago, we have learned at IBC this week.

After showing us large chunks of the breathtaking Titanic 3D (that will be released on 12 April 2012), Jim explained that he is teaming up with BBC for the big screen version of Walking With Dinosaurs.
