The film has its world premiere on 14 March at SXSW2010 . in IMAX-3D format, and will be shown at the Houston Museum of Natural Science on 19 March 2010. Filming in space is always a challenge, but especially so for a 3D IMAX production. Because there was not room inside the crew cabin of space shuttle Atlantis, the vehicle carried the IMAX camera in its payload bay, complete with one mile of film. That sounds like a lot, but it's not. The camera only had 8½ minutes of film to capture the 13-day mission. The movie web site is here.

When saying "I am going to the bat cave", Greg Passmore, president of San Diego-based 3D Production Studio PassmoreLab, is referring to a Texas bat cave where he was filming part of his latest science movie, “The Extreme Nature of Bats”, that has a resident population of 12 million of the little flying fanged mammals.
