Stereoscopic Player 2.2.8 Offers Multiple Instances and is Ready for Download
The completely rewritten Stereoscopic Player is now in 2.2.8 version and is worth upgrading!
Stereoscopic Player is more efficient, more useful, and more user-friendly than ever, with Oculus Rift support, GPU acceleration for anaglyph modes. The rendering engine has been fully rewritten from scratch in April 2014 and is now less resources-hungry than before. It offers a brand new toolbar in full screen mode and -new feature- three different settings may coexist in the same PC thanks to the "Multiple Stereoscopic Player Instances" kit.
Try before you buy
Stereoscopic Player is to 3D players what Microsoft is to operating systems: unavoidable! One advantage however is that the free version is working (with some limitations) so you can evaluate all options before spending €39 for a private license.
Multiple Stereoscopic Player Instances
The files in the Stereoscopic Player Multiple Instance Kit allow to run three instances of the Stereoscopic Player with different settings. Each instance uses a different Registry path to store its settings.
The tool has been used to create three customizations files (*.cst) that differ from the original file in the title and the Registry path. More info here on 3dtv.at.
If you already have Stereoscopic Player (or if you don't), download the last version www.3dtv.at.
The 2.2.8 version is temporarily available here as it is still officially a Beta version.
