"Diablo 3D & Symphony" on November 6, 2013
Save Mount Diablo (Walnut Creek, CA, USA) will host its second original three dimensional and symphony show featuring Stephen Joseph's breathtaking images on Wednesday, November 6, 2013.
During 22 minutes the work of photographer Stephen Joseph will bring the mountain indoors with some 250 stereoscopic 3D pictures of Mount Diablo. Those images will be accompanied by the Contra Costa Wind Symphony performing an original score by Northern California composer Ron Paquette.
This special event for 600 guests includes a reception with drinks and hors d' oeuvres, and presentation of the Mountain Star Awards. Details here under.

The technical component of the project was enormously complicated, Joseph said. The images were shot with paired Nikon D300 cameras, a GoPro video camera, a Fuji 3D camera and a Panasonic 3D camera only sold in Japan. That camera's manual was in Japanese, and Joseph had to figure out how it operated by trial and error. ("Lots of error," he laughed.) Read the paper in ContracostaTimes for more.
