3D Camera lost (and found) in Sydney Harbour
Neil Surry lost its 3D GoPro with 2 brand new Hero2 Cameras in the middle of Sydney (Australia) Harbour while out with friends on a small boat.
The picture here under was taken 20 seconds before he slipped and lost the still filming camera in the water. A guy named Barry from the harbour dive service was asked for help and some 50 minutes later he surfaced with the 3D GoPRO. May be living down under helps in some circumstances... This remind us that 3D is best shot with a stable tripod in order to be sure the horizon stays horizontal (and the camera stays above the water level too). Watch the full video here under, including some fishes several meters deep in the Syney harbour.
When not throwing cameras in the see, Neil is actively shooting in 3D its snowboarding activities a Thredbo and elsewhere. Follow him on OZSnowboard (with more 3D YouTube videos).
Besides being unvoluntariliy shot underwater, this video was taken by the brand new GoPRO HD Hero 2 fittend with the last firmware version HD2.08.12.38 (required for proper 3D sync). More info about the 3D GoPro here.
