Apple Patenting 3D Gesture Devices for Its Future iPhones

 The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office officially published a series of 52 newly granted patents for Apple on August 22, 2017, including an advanced 3D depth camera patent from Apple's Israeli team that covers desktop computers and 3D glasses. The patent also covers a projection system that is noted being incorporated into a smartphone.

An Autonomous Audi Quatro with Stereoscopic Cameras on the Moon Next Year?

Audi (Germany) plans to send its Lunar-Quattro all-wheel-drive rover (pictured below) to the Moon as part of the $30 million (£20.8m) Google Lunar XPrize. The rover will be with the PT Scientists (Berlin, Germany) mission competing for the XPrize Challenge. Watch the Mission Statement video here under.
