World's Largest Cinema Chain Purchases Doremi 3D Cinema Servers
Doremi announced today the exclusive sale of 350 digital cinema servers to China’s Wanda Cinema Line — the world’s largest cinema operator. Wanda Cinema Line has 100 premium cinemas with plans to have more than 1,000 screens across China by the end of 2012. They will add another 35 cinemas with 350 screens in China by the end of 2013. The acquisition of Doremi’s Integrated Media Block (IMB) with ShowVault digital cinema servers will supplement their continued rapid expansion across Asia. This will increase the 3D stereoscopic offer in China, one of the most 3D demanding countries.

Wanda Group was founded in 1988 and operates in five major industries, including commercial properties, luxury hotels, tourism investment, cultural Industry and department store chain. Dalian Wanda Group Co. announced in may the acquisition of the U.S. cinema chain AMC Entertainment Holdings for some $2.6 billion.
