RealD Shares Beat Expectations
RealD licenses 3D stereoscopic technology to motion picture theater chains and others that show 3D content and its shares were up a fraction on Friday June 7, 2013, after the 3D movie technology company late Thursday reported results that beat analyst estimates.
For its fiscal Q4 ended March 31, the company said it swung to a per-share loss of 9 cents vs. a per-share profit of 10 cents in the year-earlier quarter. But analysts polled by Thomson Reuters had expected a loss of 19 cents a share.
RealD shares are traded at 15.30$ today, the same level as last month. The stock has found support at its 10-week moving average since October and is up nearly 80% since then.
