High Frame rate consensus among award-winning stereographers
Kommer Kleijn is the champion of high frame rates; he received in December 2009 the BSC Bert Easey Technical Achievement Award from the BSC (British Society of Cinematographers) for its action toward standardization of higher-than-24-images-per-seconds.
And now it seems he was not alone! James Cameron is another award winning stereographer wanting movies to be shot at higher frame rates.
In a recent interview by David Cohen from Variety, Cameron said that he wanted to shoot Avatar at 48 fps, but "everybody just looked at me cross-eyed with that one" Too early, maybe?. But next time, who knows...
