This excellent 5-parts paper covers all aspects of the new Pana 3DTV and they conclude that "The TX-P50VT20 is an altogether superior telly that will thrill plasma technology aficionados". First 3D home theater

As usual, InfoSync is reporting this from the digital frontier : Samsung today announced the launch of the world's first 3D Home Theater under the poetic name "HT-C6930W". Street price seems to be around 900$, and the we learned from the spec sheet that the included Sound System is 7.1 with vertical surround and a total power output of 1330 Watts.

XpanD annouces universal 3D glasses

XpandD's X103 glasses will be compatible with most computer monitors and 3D TVs, as well as all cinemas currently using XpanD's technology.

XpanD is using the active shutter-glasses technology that most 3DTV manufacturers employ. However, unlike Sony or Samsung, XpanD's 3D glasses won't be tied to a single brand name or TV model.
