Philips 21:9 3D TV

Philips presented at IFA in Germany a special prototype 3D version of the Cinema 21:9* TV with 3D content provided by a prototype version of a Philips Blu-ray Disc player. Nothing was announced in  terms of price and availability, but it worked really well !

Sony Bravia 3D TV

Sony announced at IFA in September 2009  it is to bring out a 3D series of its Bravia TVs in 2010, marking the first time the company has brought 3D technology to its TV range. Read the annoucement in Techradar here.


A new 60" 3D plasma by LG

At IFA in Berlin (4 SEP 2009), LG announced a new 60" plasma display with 3D capability.The screen will use infrared controlled active glasses. Launch date unknown but expected soon after Christmas... Price unknown.

New Hyundai 3D Screens

W220S and W240S are the two new Hyundai 3D-enabled screens. With 22 and 24 inches (in diagonal) respectively, they look like standard 2D monitors but are 3D ready. They use polarized glasses.
