Will Glasses-free 3D TV Finally Emerge in 2015?
Several companies announced deals with stereoscopic technology provider Stream TV Networks. Inception Digital (Australia), Cello Electronics (UK), and Izon (USA) will use the Ultra-D autostereoscopic (glasses-free 3D) technology in their 3D TV sets. SkyMedia (South Korea) is also announcing Ultra-D TV sets for Q1 2015.

Is having to wear special glasses to watch 3D a thing of the past? The real deals above signed at the end of 2014 pave the way to real products demonstrated at CES in Januay 2015, at NAD in April, and at the IFA in Berlin in September.
The New 42" Wildfire 3D Display Autoconverts 3D Content
Magnetic 3D (New York, USA) today announced the official launch of its Wildfire3D display line, which includes embedded hardware that automatically converts stereoscopic 3D (side-by-side) content into glasses-free 3D in real time. Magnetic 3D displays are "glasses-free" 3D solutions aimed at the digital signage market.
Wildfire3D accepts a 3D stereoscopic output from virtually any 3D-enabled application — from visualization and gaming to live video and convert it on the flight to the multiview format requierd by the autostereoscopic display.
