OculusVR announced this March 19, 2014 the Oculus Rift Development Kit 2, the latest development kit for the Oculus Rift stereoscopic virtual reality helmet with a low-persistence OLED display. The kit includes a low-latency positional head tracking USB2 external camera.
The new OLED screen has a double 960 x 1080 pixels resolution, a 75 Hz refresh rate and improved clarity, color, and contrast. Watch the video presentation here under.

The Oculus Software Development Kit (SDK) includes out-of-the-box engine integrations for the Unreal Development Kit, Unreal Engine 4, and Unity 4 that make getting started with VR game development easier and faster than ever.
The Oculus SDK is publicly available and includes source code. It supports Linux, Windows, and Mac OSX.
Price and Availability
The Oculus DK2 is priced at $350 for pre-order; the delivery date is set to July 2014.
According to 3Dvision-blog, the net cost in Europe (taxes and shipping included) is $486.
