"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Released on Blu-ray 3D On December 16, 2014

Critics are very positive about the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" stereoscopic 3D movie quality: a godd 2D-to-3D conversion on a movie shot with 3D in mind from start,a and an excellent 7.1 audio track down-converted from the theatrical Dolby Atmos format.

 The Story

Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder has an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

What They Said

HighDefDigest said "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' was shot digitally with 3D in mind, although what we get here is a post-conversion. With that noted, the picture is incredibly sharp and full of color and detail (which is even more evident when watching the standard 2D Blu-ray version). Black levels are inky deep, skin tones are properly balanced throughout, and there's a lot of high-def 'pop' to the imagery. In fact, the image is so sharp, that one can really appreciate the work that went into the creation of the turtles themselves, as they actually look like high-end puppets or well-detailed costumes rather that full-CGI creations." One hour of HD bonus content is added for good mesure.
