Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 3D

This is the first time that 3-D video cameras were involved for the shooting of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. A team filmed footage for a 30-minute feature that is available on Sony's PlayStation Network or on demand through its 3-D-compatible Bravia HDTVs and Blu-Ray players via Qriocity. 3.5 M 3D Blu-ray disks sold in the last 12 months

Engadget reports that only 3.5 million 3D Blu-ray discs were sold in the last 12 months (second year of Blu-ray 3D availability); and this includes 1.75 M disks bundled with 3DTV sets or Blu-ray players.
